Guid afteroon! I hae bin blessed wi' a wonderful event! I'm leavin' tae visit scootlund at th' end ay next week! I'm verry excited an' I caant wuait tae see th' land ay some ay mah ancestors. Soo I'm jist wonderin', has anywoon every bin thar beefoor an' if soe, any suggestions ur words ay advice?
Well, it's been over a week now since I've returned from my beautiful old home, the Pacific Northwest and an absolute wonderful time, both at Artfest and visiting my long time friend, Denise. So, I think it's high time I got my act together and posted some pics, don't you? (Sheesh--I'm such a slacker!)
Artfest was great. I always love reconnecting with those I've worked with and now consider friends. It was a lot of fun seeing Michael's gallery exhibit, eating with Kelly, Liz, Suz, Randi, Stephanie, Traci, Susan and others (and as you know, the meals on any trip I take contribute to my favorite memories) and of course being inspired by three great instuctors.
The weather was great the entire trip--which is a small miracle. So far, the return to reality hasn't been too painful. It could be worse. At least I have my tasty memories to keep me smiling :-)
